The principles of our company, Ready to Rent Management LLP, have in excess of 30 years of experience in managing properties in the County Durham area as distance landlords.  Our employees have in excess of 40 years of experience managing property in and around County Durham. 

Our ethos is to ensure that properties are not vacant and our tenants are paying their rental as per their tenancy agreement.  We are proactive in finding tenants, referencing prospective tenants and ensuring that your property is occupied.  We carry out extensive checks to ensure that the tenant is suitable for your property, including, wherever possible inspecting their current residence.

Our tenant managers are experienced in working in the social housing sector and experienced in working with Durham County Council Housing Benefit Department and Universal Credit to ensure a speedy payment of any benefits due.  We endeavour to get Universal Credit and Housing Benefit paid directly to us, as the agents, rather than to the tenants.  Our management team regularly visit new tenants over the first weeks of their tenancy and maintain contact throughout the tenancy. 

We endeavour to help our tenants and engage positively with them because happy tenants paying rental makes for happy landlords.

All of our landlords have a dedicated Landlord Manager, who is available daily between 9.30am and 2.30pm to answer any queries that you have.  Statements are sent out monthly and we pay all rentals promptly to landlords monthly.

Your property will be inspected every three months and a full written report can be sent to you if required.  

In line with the law, all rental collected is deposited in to a dedicated and fully insured client account.  

We work closely with Durham County Council and our properties meet their required standard for letting so Durham Key Options and Housing Solutions frequently refer tenants to us.
