Here at Ready to Rent Management, we believe that we offer a service that is second to none.  

Gill and Keith Burgess, two of the partners of Ready to Rent Management have been landlords in the North East of England since 2003.  They are aware of the pitfalls in choosing the wrong letting agents to look after their properties.  As a letting agent Ready to Rent Management work hard to eliminate these problems. 

Ready to Rent Management currently manage in excess of 150 houses, we have an excellent team of Lettings Managers who are responsible for arranging the letting of your property.  Our Lettings Team have plenty of experience in arranging and carrying out viewings, referencing applicants and dealing with tenants and ensuring that there rental payments are set up appropriately. 

During our viewing process we offer either individual viewings or open house style viewings, following these viewings we will then choose the best tenant for your property.

During the application process, our Lettings Managers will seek references from previous landlords,  along with proof of earnings or benefits / Universal Credit and bank statements, to ensure that the property is affordable for the applicant.  Where ever possible or if the Lettings Managers deem it appropriate we will endeavour to meet with the applicants in their current home.

Once a new tenant has moved in to your property to make it their home, our Lettings Managers keep in contact with them on a weekly basis for the first month to ensure that their payments have been set up correctly, there are no issues with the tenancy and to ensure that all the utilities are transferred in to the tenants name. 

We then carry out a three monthly inspection of the property and if requested we are able to provide you with a written report of this inspection.  We will also arrange for the annual gas safety check to be carried out on a yearly basis as well as ensuring that the properties EPC and Electrical Conditioning Reports are booked and checked once they reach their expiry dates.

As the Landlord you will have a main contact with Ready to Rent Management, Jen, who is the third partner in Ready to Rent Management.  Jen, along with Jackie work together to prepare your monthly payments and statements.  Jen is available Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 2.30pm either by telephone or by email to answer any queries that you may have.

Most of our Landlords get to know Gill and Keith during the purchase process, both Gill and Keith as Senior Partners in Ready to Rent Management are always available Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 5.30pm to answer any queries that you may have. 

As a company, Ready to Rent Management belong to UKALA, we are approved landlords by Durham County Council in their Private Landlord Accreditation Scheme. We are members of the Property Redress Scheme.  The rent we collect on your behalf is held in a Client Account and guaranteed by CMP (Part of the Property Redress Scheme).
